MEGA-EXHIBITION- TRANSCEND ’14- HELD AT ICSK AMMAN
A Mega-Exhibition ‘Transcend 2014’ was held on 9th Jan, 2014 at the Indian Community School Kuwait, Amman Branch. The invited guests included Honorary Vice-Chairman to the board of trustees Mr. Rajan Daniel, Honorary Secretary Mr. Vijay Karayil, PAC members, Principals, Vice-Principals and parents.
The inaugural function began with the recital from the holy Quran followed by the National Anthems of Kuwait and India.
Principal of ICSK Amman Mr. Rajesh Nair C. rendered the welcome speech. The Honorary Vice-Chairman Mr. Rajan Daniel presented the presidential address encouraging and motivating each one present.
The chief guest Mr. Vijay Karayil, Honorary Secretary to the Board of Trustees inaugurated the event by unveiling a magnificent tableau. This exhibit depicted the past, present and future of human progress and showcased development in the light of different aspects of growth.
Mr. Vijay Karayil then enlightened the audience with his encouraging words and declared the exhibition open.
Vote of thanks was proposed by the academic supervisor Mrs. Sumitra Nandakumar.
Exhibits in the form of working-models, still-models, charts, poster monuments were displayed explaining different concepts of science, social science, languages, mathematics, sports and computer science. An array of art work such as pencil-shading, water-colour paintings, oil paintings, origami, crafted items etc. were displayed in the auditorium.
An exceptionally high turnout of parents, relatives and friends of students and staff kept the spirits high. The exceedingly encouraging feedback of the visitors spoke volumes of the success of TRANSCEND 2014.
