K. G. Annual Day Celebration at India International School
Annual Day is an opportunity for parents to reflect on their child’s growth and accomplishments over the past year, and to feel proud of the milestones they had achieved. It is also an opportunity for budding students to showcase their talents and celebrate their hard work.
Keeping in pace with the tradition of IISM, the Kindergarten section organised its Annual Day – Blooming Euphoria on 22 February on the sprawling grounds of IISM. The colossal event was graced by the presence of distinguished dignitaries and a special guest, Mr. Aws Al Shaheen, the representative of the school owner, who added to the grandeur of the evening.
To solemnize the occasion, the little angels, Musthafa and Faiza eloquently recited the verses and the translation of the Holy Quran. Following this, the National Anthem of the foster land and the motherland were recited to instil the patriotic spirit.
Dazzling butterflies in vibrant attires grabbed the attention of the eminent guests when they were lined up proudly to present bouquets of love and appreciation.
The elegant evening was glorified with the welcome address by Principal, K.V. Indulekha. In her speech she expressed her deep appreciation and enunciated the presence of the top-notch guests who took the august gathering to a new level of glory, elevating the celebration to new heights with their presence. On behalf of the key functionaries of the school, Director, Malayil Moosa Koya, Vice -Principal, Saleem Kundungal, Headmistress, Sridevi Neelakannan, Coordinators, Shihab Nilgiri, Prema Balasubramaniyan and Najiyah Kader and of course the partners in education, the parents.
The highlight of the program was an assortment of mesmerizing displays of dance performances by our dynamic tiny tots. The spirited performers demonstrated their artistry and skill through a variety of dance styles, intricate footwork, and impressive formations. With their attractive demeanor, our kindergarteners compelled the audience to tap their feet and sway in delight to the rhythm of the music. The combination of traditional and modern dance elements displayed left the audience in awe. It was indeed a delightful moment for the proud parents to cherish the golden memories.
The program was concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by the Coordinator, Najiyah Kader expressing her sincere thanks to the invitees of the day and to the proud parents who left the venue with sweet memories of their precious ones. She expressed special thanks to her entire team who toiled effortlessly for the success of the programme.
