FAIPS – DPS Culminates the 7th CTY-2023
FAIPS- DPS hosted the successful final round of the Inter-School Quiz Competition CTY-2023 in memory of Mr. Rino Alex on January 11, 2024. Following a competitive Preliminary round on December 7, 2023, where 40 teams from 20 schools participated, the stage was set for the Finals. The top six teams—Indian School of Excellence, Gulf Indian School, FAIPS, Indian Central School, ICSK Junior, and Indian Learners Own Academy—emerged from the Preliminary round, showcasing their knowledge and enthusiasm.
Mrs & Mr. K. G. Alexander, along with the extended family of the late Mr. Rino Alex, attended the event, joined by esteemed Guests of Honor Rev. Pramod Mathew and Dr.Sushil Mathew from the USA. Rev. Pramod Mathew, our esteemed Guest of Honour, delivered an inspiring address on the pursuit of excellence to the audience.
The quiz was structured into seven rounds—General, Name It & Claim It, Audio-Visual, living on the Edge, Match Time, Rapid Fire, and a Buzzer Round—the quiz aimed to challenge participants' knowledge and decision-making skills. Following a closely contested competition, the winners of Catch Them Young 2023 were announced as follows:
The Indian School of Excellence secured the Rolling Trophy, claiming the first position with an impressive total of 175 points. Gulf Indian School secured the second position with 165 points, while ICSK Junior achieved third place with a total of 160 points.
The 7th Season concluded with the victorious teams receiving captivating prizes generously sponsored by Mr. K. G. Alexander (NBTC), Fantasy World, and Pottery Barn Kids.
