The crisp December evening was imbued with anticipation as the valedictorians stood poised, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the esteemed dignitaries. The programme began with a majestic procession of valedictorians, led by the Chief Guest, Mr. Ravi Ayanoli, Principal of Fahaheel Al Wataniah Indian Private School, along with the Guest of Honour, Mr. Sreekumar Pillai, Manager of Gulf Indian School, and other distinguished Special Guests, including Ms. Caroline Flaherty, Principal of Future Bilingual School for Girls, Dr. Mohammed Riaz, Registrar of Internal Medicine at Adan Hospital, Dr. Prashant Vasudev, Principal of Gulf Indian School and Vice Principals. The valedictorians, adorned in their finest attire and exuding confidence, made their way down the aisle, taking their honored seats as the true stars of the evening, signaling the start of a truly memorable celebration. A cherished highlight of the evening was the unveiling of the E-Newsletter, a vibrant testament to the school’s milestones, capturing its year-round achievements and memorable moments. Adding a touch of nostalgia, ‘ The Yearbook’ , a treasury of cherished memories and friendships, was released by the students, evoking a wave of reminiscence. A journey down memory lane took shape with the soulful rendition of ‘Country Roads’, a musical tribute that encapsulated the bittersweet essence of parting. The evening was further adorned by the honouring of alumni, a celebration of past graduates who continue to shine as torchbearers of GIS’s legacy.
A moment of profound wisdom unfolded as Principal Dr. S. Prashant Vasudev took to the stage, his words resonating with encouragement and boundless hope, urging the graduating class to embrace the vast horizons awaiting them. Then came the most awaited segment—the Convocation Ceremony, where each student, brimming with pride and nostalgia, ascended the stage to receive their certificate and a heartfelt message from the Principal. Applause echoed through the hall as the Special Awards were bestowed upon students, recognizing their stellar achievements, talents, and exemplary attributes.
The evening reached its zenith with “A Night of Honours,” a dazzling celebration of excellence. Mrs. Padmaavathy Krishnamoorthy was proudly awarded the “Star of the Future Educator” by Asianet News, while Mrs. Reeja Benny received the distinguished “Special Jury Award for Best Middle School Educator.” Both were further celebrated as recipients of the prestigious Asianet Best Educator Awards, a tribute to their unwavering dedication to shaping young minds. The esteemed council members were also honored for their unwavering dedication and leadership, leaving an indelible mark on the institution.

Finally, Miss Nivetha Giju, the recipient of the prestigious Crowning Glory title, graced the platform, sharing her thoughts on the transformative journey within the school’s nurturing walls. The evening was graced by a profoundly emotional moment as mentors and parents gathered to offer their heartfelt wishes. With prayers, love, and an unwavering belief in the bright futures of the graduates, they sent them off into the world.
