DSC 2724There is something special about Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony – innocence retained, journeys begun and dreams waiting to be achieved. Gulf Indian School celebrated the Kindergarten Graduation Day on 6 February, Thursday, in the school auditorium. It was attended by 99 smart and bubbly children along with their parents and well-wishers. The occasion was graced by the presence of our esteemed chief guest, Mrs. Sherly Dennis, Director, Indian School of Excellence and Dr Minu Rose John, Dentist & Educator, as our special guest. The grand entry of the dignitaries- the Chief Guest - Mrs Sherly Dennis, Director, Indian School of Excellence, special guest - Dr Minu Rose John, Dentist & Educator at Royal Group, Dr. Prashant Vasudev - Principal GIS & Vice Principals marked the beginning of the splendacious Preprimary Graduation day. The programme commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Master Muhammed Aariz of UKG followed by the National Anthem of Kuwait. Mrs Sreeja Praveen - KG Coordinator welcomed the audience and expressed her gratitude.

The Principal in his welcome address emphasized the growth and achievements of kindergarten graduates, their academic, social, and emotional development and encouraged parents to support their children's individual passions and creativity. He also expressed gratitude to parents for their support and motivated them to foster a creative environment for children to explore their passions. As a token of gratitude, the chief guest and the special guest were honoured with mementos. Then came the most important part of the day -the delighted little ones of Pre-Primary dressed in Graduation robes and caps walked the stage and received the scrolls & mementos of graduation from the dignitaries. The cultural events began with a charming dance by the LKG students. A video presentation showcasing the journey and experiences of the young children over their kindergarten years was displayed. Both the guests and parents were delighted to watch the slide shows and video.

The audience was captivated by the mesmerizing dance performances of the UKG students, who showcased a variety of vibrant dances. The event concluded with a heartfelt musical performance by the UKG students, expressing their thanks and hopes for the future.

The graduation ceremony featured insightful remarks from the Chief Guest. The chief guest, in her address, emphasized the crucial role of parenting and stressed the importance of dedicating quality time to children, as well as the necessity of listening to them with patience. The special guest in her address shared insights on how to smile with confidence and provided advice for achieving a radiant smile.

This significant event concluded on a note of gratitude, marked by a vote of thanks by Mrs. Sofi Varghese, Principal KG & Primary. The well-organized and efficiently conducted Kindergarten graduation ceremony has undoubtedly provided parents, teachers, and children with numerous cherished memories.
