SCIENCE & AI EXHIBITION: A CELEBRATION OF INNOVATION AND ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
To forge inter - connectivity between the school, students and parents, Gulf Indian School, Fahaheel crossed yet another milestone in undertaking the herculean task of organising an enriching exploratory exhibition by the students of classes I to XII on 17 November, 2025. Wherein students showcased static and working models which can be used for learning various pedagogical concepts with an objective to encourage and inculcate scientific temper, research-mindedness and the cognitive aspects of the task.
The Science and Artificial intelligence exhibition was successfully organised with the objective of fostering scientific temper, encouraging innovation and showcasing the creativity of our young learners.
The exhibition was inaugurated by the guest of honour Dr.Behanan Santhosh. The event commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by an introduction, a welcome dance, an inspiring song, and a captivating speech delivered by Dr. Behanan Santhosh. Our esteemed Principal, Dr. Prashant Vasudev, acknowledged the talents of the students as well as their guiding educators. The opening ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks.
The exhibition, organised by the Science and ComputerScience departments, aimed to foster a passion for these subjects while encouraging students to apply their knowledge in practical and novel ways. The event showcased a diverse range of exhibits, projects, and interactive displays, demonstrating the students' thorough understanding and passion for Science and AI.
The science section of the exhibition featured a plethora of thought-provoking displays on various scientific disciplines. Students explored the realms of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Environmental Science, presenting captivating projects that showcased both their knowledge and innovative thinking.The AI segment of the Heuristic exhibition emerged as a major highlight, captivating visitors with an impressive blend of innovation and insight. It featured working models and visually engaging posters that traced the history, evolution, and applications of Artificial Intelligence. Robots of various sizes added an interactive dimension, demonstrating the latest advancements in robotics.
A standout attraction was the AI system capable of recognising visual elements in real time, offering visitors a fascinating glimpse into intelligent machine perception. The segment proved to be both inspiring and enlightening, sparking curiosity and celebrating the limitless possibilities of technology
An attractive display featured an innovative water filtration system designed by a group of students to help address the global scarcity of clean drinking water. Another notable exhibit highlighted sustainable energy solutions, where students presented prototype models of renewable energy systems. Their projects focused on tackling the urgent issue of climate change and emphasized the importance of shifting toward environmentally friendly alternatives.
Throughout the exhibition, students actively engaged the spectators, explaining their projects, answering questions, and demonstrating their experiments. This interactive approach not only helped reinforce their understanding of the subjects but also enabled them to develop crucial communication and presentation skills. The Canopy of the auditorium was filled with the elegant paintings of our promising artists which indeed left the visitors in admiration.
We at GIS, always strive to create a learning environment that offers students a vast experience they look forward to every single day. We focus on making learning enjoyable and illuminating to inspire young minds to take ownership of their learning. Our pedagogical methodologies are updated from time to time to aid in students ‘holistic development which facilitates learning with fun.
The remarkable day concluded with loads of appreciation and best wishes from the management and parents for the commendable task undertaken by the teachers and students.
