“The Timeless Classics”
The Annual Day Celebration 2025–26 of Aspire Indian International School was held on 21 December 2025 with grandeur, creativity, and intellectual depth. The evening commenced with the Kuwait National Anthem, followed by a soulful Qur’an recitation, setting a dignified and auspicious tone for the celebrations.
A graceful Floral Welcome Ceremony followed, symbolising warmth, respect, and gratitude. The school was honoured by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including:
- Mr. K. O. Mathew, Chairman, Ms. Leelamma along with family members
- Ms. Stephine Mathew, Head of Sustainability and Strategic Growth
- Corporate Manager Mr. Sundaram
- Mr. Subin Sebastian, General Manager, Stellar Education
- Mr. Toby Matthew, Activity Director, DAS Schools
- Principals and Vice Principals of sister schools
- Mr. Islam, School Relationship Manager, British Council
- Dr. Navnit Gandhi, and other honoured guests
Their presence added prestige and encouragement to the celebration.
The programme was inspired by the visionary leadership of the Principal, Dr. Geetika Ahuja, whose dream of bringing literature alive beyond textbooks shaped the theme, “The Timeless Tapestry of English Literature.” The entire original script and narrative framework were conceptualised and written by Ms. Subi Dalbin, Head of English (IGCSE), under the guidance and direction of the Principal, translating this vision into a cohesive and compelling literary production.
The celebration presented a mesmerising journey through the Elizabethan, Revival and Victorian eras, brought alive through drama, dance, poetry, music and narration. Students brilliantly portrayed the literary legends William Shakespeare, William Wordsworth and George Bernard Shaw, while the Time Machine of Literature served as a powerful theatrical metaphor connecting centuries of thought and expression.
The event was honoured by the presence of distinguished guests, management members, principals of sister schools, and representatives from the British Council, whose encouragement added prestige to the occasion.
Exceptional performances, seamless transitions and striking visuals reflected the dedication of teachers, choreographers, programme coordinators, technical teams and support staff. The Vice Principal, Ms. Husena, played a significant and multifaceted role in the success of the programme. Her creative vision, constant support, thoughtful guidance and keen aesthetic sense were instrumental in shaping the visual identity, design elements and overall coherence of the celebration, ensuring a refined and memorable experience for the audience.
The evening concluded with an elegant Curtain Call, celebrating teamwork, creativity and student excellence. The Annual Day stood as a remarkable and unique testament to experiential learning, artistic expression and the school’s commitment to holistic education.
