 Lemongrass Tea

Ingredients


1/2 cup lemon grass, finely chopped
1/2 cup mint leaves (phudina), finely chopped
1 tsp tea leaves (optional)
Jaggery (gur) to taste

Method
1. Combine the lemon grass, mint leaves and jaggery with 5 cups of water in a pan and bring it to a boil.
2. Lower the flame and simmer till it reduces to about 3 cups.
3. Remove from the flame, add the tea leaves, cover and allow it to steep for a few minutes.
4. Strain and serve hot.
