SIF-Kuwait Announced Sastra Pratibha-Science Talent Exam
SIf-Kuwait announced the commencement of Sastra Pratibha, The biggest and the most prestigious science talent contest in Kuwait.SPC (2024-25) will be a Two level contest to select ONE Sastra Pratibha each from grade IV to X. SPC 2024-25 first level examination will take place on November 7, 2024 (Thursday) at various Indian schools. Second examination will be on January 17, 2025 (Friday).
Students from class 4 to class 10 are eligible to register under the categories Sub junior (Class 4, 5), Junior (Class 6, 7, 8) and Senior (Class 9, 10). Registrations for the same will be strictly through schools. Once the registration process is over, a Question Bank following the prescribed syllabus will be provided to the students through our website (https://www.google.com/url?q=http://www.sifkuwait.com&source=gmail&ust=1725938495928000&usg=AOvVaw2TFBI4sPkUAPtYSc7AdREI">www.sifkuwait.com). IMA-YouthWing to launch “Save Water, Energy for Today and Save Life for Tomorrow” Campaign
IMA-YouthWing is excited to announce the launch of its campaign ‘Save Water, Energy for Today and Save Life for Tomorrow’ set to begin on July 19, 2024, at Masjid-e-Abu Rafe, Jaleeb Al Shuwaikh, Kuwait, from 1 PM onwards.
The campaign centres on the themes “Eat & Drink, but do not waste” (Quran 7:31) and “You will be accountable for all the Bounties you enjoyed” (Quran 102:08) emphasizing the ethical and spiritual responsibility of every individual towards conserving resources.
The campaign features a series of impactful programs and activities aimed at fostering awareness and practical action:
- Filter Cleaning/Changing: Volunteers will address the need for clean water by cleaning and changing filters in public areas, ensuring the community has access to safe drinking water.
- Stickers Pasting: Awareness stickers will be placed in prominent public locations to remind and encourage individuals to conserve water and energy.
- Awareness Sessions: Educational sessions will be conducted at public areas, camps, and beaches, focusing on the importance of conserving water and energy and the practical steps individuals can take.
- Twitter Campaign: A social media initiative will be launched to engage the broader community in discussions about conservation and sustainability, leveraging the power of Twitter to spread the message.
- Reel Competition: A creative competition inviting participants to produce short reels that highlight water and energy conservation. The best entries will receive recognition and prizes.
- Flyers Sharing: Informative flyers will be shared throughout the campaign, providing tips and guidelines on how to save water and energy effectively.

Rules and Regulations:
1. The film should adhere to the theme
2. The duration of the film should not exceed 10 minutes
3. All entries should accompanied by a poster and details of the main crew members.
4. Award-winning film will be announced by the last week of November 2024.
5. The participating team will be responsible for the content and any possible copyright issues.
6. SIF-Kuwait has the authority to disqualify any film if it contains scenes promoting alcohol conception. smoking, drug usage, violence etc,.
7. The students must do acting, direction and script. Support can be taken from experts for other areas like editing, sound mixing, and cinematography. However, these will not be considered for judgment.
Rules governing Jury:
1. SIF will appoint a jury consisting of eminent persons to select the winning entries.
2. The jury can suggest films for preview screening in sections other than those applied for.
Awards:
Award comprises memento and certificate.
